Eww I'm ill..

Friday and Saturday have been really busy days for me!

Friday
Met Wanjun and Yao at cineleisure to have our karaoke session, and that was my first time. I didn't know that karaoke is so fun!! I got really high (an unusual phenomenon), and what started as singing turned into shouting. Oh gosh, that explains my very sore throat.

Strangely, mandarin songs are the funnest to sing, duets and raps too! I also learned that slow songs are super mood-kill and a waste time. I can't wait to get my ass back to KBOX again! *screams*

After KBOX, we went to have our dinner at Nihon Mura. I ordered every dish on the menu that has Mentai. I am never ever gonna get over these creamy Pollock roes. The food was not bad but I wish Nihon Mura would be as generous as Sakae Sushi when it comes to the amount of Mentai per sushi. They taste most heavenly in massive amounts! :P

After dinner, we walked around for awhile before heading home to prep for sleepover.

The sleepover was quite enjoyable. We played mahjong, poker cards, watched The Notebook, cried and slept. We had Mac's for breakfast the following day! :)

Saturday
Went to catch The Hunger Games with Huiqi :)

We had our lunch at Quiznos. Gosh, I swear I will never have Subway if Quiznos is nearby. The bread itself already wins Subway hands-down, needless to mention the filling. I wish they are more generous with the sauces though. It'll make the entire sub juicer! :) The broccoli & cheese soup is super yum! As well as the ginormous choco chunk cookie! The cookie is reheated so that the choco chunks melt. And having warm cookie in your mouth is simply blissful.

The Hunger Games is a very good movie. I think I would have liked the movie better if I haven't read the book. It's not that the movie doesn't reflect the story line accurately, but the fact that I knew how the movie will develop makes it less enjoyable than it would have been. The curiosity and excitement (which overwhelmed me while reading the book) are lacking and hence caused the entire movie to be lower than expectations.

Oh! Huiqi and I are such die-hard THG fans that we dressed up to fit in the setting of the movie (more accurately, the arena). Haha. She was wearing some forest green shorts while I was wearing a earth-tone midi. Gosh. We even painted our nails with our coveted CG nail polishes from the Colours from Capitol collection.

I really think there won't be any books that can replace THG trilogy in my heart. Seriously. I feel that for my 19 years of life, this is the one time I've spent my money wisely. My 3 babies.

Back to present. I'm suffering now. My throat is sore. There are phlegm, but I can't cough them out easily because they are in small amounts and very thick. Every time I cough, I feel like my throat is tearing and there will be this bloody taste. Nose blocked and itching from deep within. Ears blocked and teary-eyed.

I will behave myself the next time. Less screaming, less Mentai-spamming.

I wish I could wash my respiratory system. Oh well.
